"Stayed at the O'Neil this past weekend for my husband's birthday weekend. We had reservations for Chef and the Farmer for Saturday evening which was just down the street, perfect location for the restaurant and Mother Earth Brewery. We went to New Bern on Saturday very easy drive from Kinston."

"Very nice place, and located near many things. We had never been to a bed and breakfast before and didn't know what to expect. The breakfast was different than anything we had ate before, we would have preferred the regular breakfast items, but it was fine for the B&B experience. Overall, I'd recommend this place."

"Clean. Pleasant innkeeper willing to make accommodation for late arrival and early departure. Bed not that comfortable and the room was too dark. Light blown out in ceiling fixture and only one dim lamp. Could use nightstand on both sides of bed. Arived on a cold, very rainy night. Had the fireplace (gas) been on and if there was more light in entry parlor, would have seemed more welcoming. All in all, a good experience, but not stellar."

"We really like d our stay at the country inn& suites. The breakfast was pretty good the first day we were there 3 days total the next two and we're not as great. There were several people who made waffles and took them with them like they ate and then took more with them for wherever they went. Room was very comfortable. Bed was pretty good but the pillows really need to be better. It did not affect my visit but they would have been a lot more comfortable. They were very small. Other than those minor things, everything was pretty good"
