「We felt warmly welcomed by the staff. Our room was lovely with the exception of being located at the front of the house. We could hear the traffic. The breakfast was delicious and freshly prepared. The woman serving us was very nice and efficient. We enjoyed our stay.」

「My husband and in laws each rented a cabin for a weekend. The property is beautiful, amenities are impressive, and the food is excellent! We enjoyed spending time by the pool reading (excellent book selection in the lobby,) relaxing in the dry saunas, kayaking on the lake, Sunday yoga and the peace of the guided evening float. Prospect Berkshires is incredibly curated from the moment you get out of your car. This was my second stay and will not be my last!」

「I had not visited the Ponds for 30 years. It has not gracefully aged. Condo unit has not been updated since it was built in the early 70s and it shows. Drafty and slightly damaged doors, slow drains in the bathrooms, furniture and rugs that show damage and age, and a clubhouse in need of updating. Front desk staff not very friendly or useful, odd because they don’t have a lot of foot traffic this time of the season. There are other similar facilities in the area that might be worth exploring...

「Lovely historic home filled with books and artwork, and many outdoor spaces to sit and enjoy the property. Breakfast was wonderful with caring attention paid to guests needs and wishes. It was also a nice time to sit and talk with other inn guests and learn of area places of interest to see/visit. Room was comfortable, not large, with small, very clean en-suite bath. Owner’s dog was sweet to greet us in the morning! Was not able to connect with wifi in our room but not a bad thing to be without...

「The hotel recently changed hands and the new owners weren't completely prepared for guests. It's advertised as a B&B, which implies breakfast is included in the cost, but it was not. Having said that, the breakfast was excellent and really delicious. Highly recommend. Housekeeping did not refill the provided shampoo, body wash or conditioner when they cleaned the room. Our room was at basement level but received lots of light; however, we could hear footsteps of everyone walking in the common...
