"The property was exactly as described. The owners have a marina as well as the B&B and you're staying right on the waterfront. Food was culinary treat and location was central to all I needed to do in the area. Patti was fun and helpful and I felt right at home while visiting my son, daughter-in-law, and grandson in NJ. Jane and Ellie made the stay fun - (the dogs)."

"The hotel and room was beautiful and very clean although some amenities were not open I assume due to April being the off season. Salt restaurant and the food/bar area at the pool was not open. Was looking forward to at least breakfast in the hotel and nothing was available. Wish this was stated on their web cite. "We liked our stay at this place The only thing that I didn’t like the location of our room was on the rear side of the building and at 3 am a truck came and parked there making a lot of noise that woke us up other than that our stay was pleasant Also an update and renovation outside of the building would be good to attract more visitors "

The place was clean although the tub and shower could use some updating and the rug could be cleaned. "This place is a great economical option if you want to visit historic Smithville, the wildlife refuge or take a 20 minute drive to AC. Walking distance to Smithville. They did not have an ice machine or hand towels but otherwise clean , friendly, and updated. Would stay again"

"The building is run down and disgusting. The beds are not beds, they are roll-outs. The place looks nothing like the photos shown. However, the manager there was nice enough to tell me that I can get a refund."
