"This home had absolutely EVERYTHING we needed for a long weekend by the lake. Kitchen is fully stocked, beds are comfortable, the yard has a swing and lots of birds, and the fire pit made the nights sooo relaxing. The property is a short walk away from the local campground- we rented a pontoon from them and had a great time on the lake. This place is perfect for a relaxing and peaceful vacation. 100 stars!!! "

"We loved our time at the Kimmell House. Beautiful grounds and house was amazing! We stayed in the private cottage with a king bed. The bed was wonderfully comfortable, the sheets were the best I have ever felt, 4 pillows with a variety of firm and soft, and our room was lovely. They went above and beyond with extra comforts and treats. Breakfast both days was delicious and homemade from scratch, absolutely loved it. We had a wonderful weekend, and we are so thankful we found this gem of a B&B."

"Essenhaus Inn is beautiful, inside and outide too! Very clean, person at reception desk was very nice and friendly, very quiet, unique decor. Right next door to the Essenhaus restaurant and variety of gift shops. There are very nice walkways and scenery is beautiful! We had a balcony on our room with a small table and chairs on the balcony. There is also a very nice fire pit surrounded by chairs behind the hotel. I loved staying here and would absolutely stay again! "

"Charming Amish home. It was unclear at booking if the bedrooms had queen or double beds, but they were double so it was extremely tight for a couple. The single bathroom was very tiny and there was zero counter space in the bathroom. There is no hair soap or hair dryer included which is fine if you know ahead of time and can bring your own. You are staying at a propery which has the owners living in the home that is adjacent so they monitor the home very closely. We got a note on the door...
