"We were fortunate enough to find this gem during an April Noreaster and were the only ones staying here. The hotel was more than we could have wished for, so beautiful and comfortable. The food was SO GOOD and the staff truly went above and beyond to make sure we had everything we could need. If we ever get back to this part of Maine we will definitely be back!"

"Wonderful location, which we chose as a base to explore other coastal towns nearby such as Camden and Belfast. The hosts were lovely, and the gourmet 3 course breakfast served daily was simply amazing. The home was charming, and cozy and filled with everything that made the stay delightful. Walking across the street to a lobster dinner on the water was an added bonus. We’d love to return to the Spouter Inn. "

Our stay was made more memorable by the courtesy shown from our hostess Carolyn who gave us much information on her lovely home and it's idyllic setting. "Lovely piece of property off Hwy 1 right outside Camden and close to Bar Harbor and Arcadia National Park! Room was spacious with convenient parking. Breakfast was fabulous, dropped at the door each more at your specified time. Was able to do a load of laundry when we first arrived. We were early but purchased a bottle of wine in the lobby and sat on the porch while waiting on laundry and room. Very nice staff."
