"Check in was fine, but found out there was a $10 parking fee..Just add the charge to the room, but we never saw the reason for a parking fee..No security..Could smell marijuana being smoked in the rooms..Young man sitting by one of the entrances with a bottle of alcohol and stayed there drinking for hours.. Husband went to Starbucks around 7 am..One woman employee was on the phone and made drink for another customer in front of my husband..Handed drink to other custome..Never acknowledged my...

"I haven’t stayed at that good of a hotel in a long time. This iconic hotel may be well over 120 years old but you won’t find a cooler place to stay if you are visiting the Stockyards. I love the fact they still give actual keys to your hotel room. From the valet parking to hotel check-in and the onsite H-3 Ranch restaurant, it’s so convenient to stay here and the price is cheaper than the big chain hotels!! I’ll be staying here again. "

"My husband and I celebrated our 16th anniversary this past weekend in Dallas. I am so thankful we chose this hotel for our stay. The rooms were clean, smell good and comfortable. The location of the hotel was ideal, in between both Fort Worth and Dallas. We had our anniversary dinner at the restaurant onsite and was very impressed with the service but most especially the food! Truly exquisite and flavorful cuisine. The restaurant manager and the server, Jessica, were so thoughtful and generous...
