"The location of Le Bovallon was perfect for us. It was a short walk to Mahebourg and far enough from the town to be nice and quiet. There are a couple of good restaurants and a supermarket within a 5-minute walk, and the beaches of Pointe d'Esny and Blue Bay (best snorkelling on the island) are a 5-10 drive away. "Only stayed for one night as we were travelling around the island. It was exactly as described and as I expected. Convenient location to the airport, blue bay and Mahebourg. Ideally you would need a car to get out of the resort and explore. Hotel has everything you need though. Big shopping centre 5 min drive away. "

"The staff were tremendous and so caring and helpful. A husband and wife caretake the place and you would have thought they owned the place based on how careful and considerate they were. I was reminded of staying at my grandma's. Everything was so clean! We had booked one day because our other accommodation was far away from the airport given the time we came in. We were sad to leave"
