Learn more about Garden

This tiny Upper Peninsula village offers peaceful fishing on Garden Bay and hiking trails through pristine northern forests. Visit the Garden Peninsula Historical Museum to discover local heritage or explore nearby Fayette Historic State Park for its preserved 19th-century iron smelting town.

The blast furnaces at this historic park were in use between 1867-91. The site is located on Little Snail Shell bay on Lake Michigan. The area in front of the furnaces had docks in it when the site was active.
