"My 5 and 9 years old girls loved it, the pool and the short walk to the bay with their thermal waters was the main attraction. We ate beautiful pizzas and salads at the snack bar, and the drinks were reasonably priced. But getting there and out with public transport was an odyssey, absolutely horrible, specially with the children. They do shutter buses from the hotel to Panza, where you can get the bus to other locations, but again, be mindful of the crows and the heat in the local buses!...

"This place is for savvy travelers. It could easily be a 4 or 5 star hotel. Amazingly clean! It’s location is great if you like to walk for 10 to 15 minutes. Restaurants and coffee shops all over. I was discouraged when I saw the taxi driving away from the port without knowing that Ischia has this beautiful area called Casamicciola. "The hotel is average at best Room didn’t have water or trash can. It was very basic Water in the bath wasn’t hot Breakfast was ok but it starts at 8 am! I have never seen a hotel starts breakfast that late! You have to ask for milk as they don’t leave it outside! So everyday I put cereal and ask for milk! There’s one coffee machine with a long waiting line There’s a beach around 7 minutes walking but the guy at the hotel invited us to private beach which is paid Hotel should offer free shuttle...

We had dinner at the hotel the first night (because we were tired), and then again on the second night because it was so good (and convenient). The hotel is beautifully situated- although it’s not centrally located, the hotel shuttle to the bus and taxis are very convenient and helpful."
