"Can’t beat the location….ever. But the furniture, cabinets, etc have seen better days. Time for some refinishing or new furniture. Felt like I walked into a condo where I rabid cat lives that scratched the sh#t out of everything. This are all individually owned apparently but the wear and tear needs to be tended to. Would be an easy fix for the price they are all charging especially during ski season. "

"Really good price, close to the mountain, staff super helpful. Our fireplace wasn’t working and the front desk gentleman came to the room at 1am to help troubleshoot the problem. Awesome place to stay! "

"This was my first time staying at Tamarack Lodge, and I can honestly say it was my personal best experience ever staying in Mammoth. The staff was superb - the hospitality and kindness made my stay. Shout out to Donald and Dave for their thoughtfulness and truly creating a personalized experience for my party. The easy parking and wonderful lake views were the cherry on top! I look forward to staying at Tamarack again. "

"The property is lovely with a creek running through it and several patios to rest and enjoy the creek. Our room had its own patio and a view of the creek. "

"Great hotel close to canyon lodge. The hotel room is dated but does give a cozy mountain cabin feel. The main attraction is how close it is to canyon lodge so you can just walk there in the morning for first tracks. The bar and restaurant are also huge pluses with great food and drinks."

"Nice place with great location to watch the sunrise! Busy street close by so if your a light sleeper maybe this is not for you. Amazing towels :) recommended!"

"Super friendly staff, property is a little bit dated. The "spa"/pool area doesn't offer closed showers and has a lot of restrictions, spa water was murky and with lots of bugs"

"We résolu liked station here. The only thing is that the walls are to thin and you can hear everything which woke me up a couple times. The breakfast that is included is more like a snack."

"We love Fireside and have stayed often. This time the cable was out and couldn't be fixed during our stay. Perhaps the storm, but still.. The sidewalks to the building were cleaned but became icy later. It is important not to slip carrying luggage etc. The property manager should salt the spots or whatever."

"I thought this condo should have included some coffee and tea. When we checked in there was only 2 little bags of coffee. We had to go to CVS to get some coffee and tea for a few days It is a clean condo."
