「Wow, the Blennerhassett Hotel is full of surprises. I booked for all the usual reasons - looked historical and charming, clean, good reviews. After check in (and they upgraded me which was nice), I had a question for the front desk and my heart melted when I saw a darling doggie friend looking back at me from behind the desk. Turns out the hotel partners with the local humane society, and has helped 200 dogs find new homes!!! They have a wall of adoptee photos across from the front desk and...

「I went to OU and lived in Athens for a few years to follow. This was my first stay at the OU Inn however and I can’t believe it took me that long to stay there! It was absolutely lovely, 10/10, would recommend.」

「The property is convenient to downtown Marietta. Due to construction of the park across the street, parking near the waterfront was closed. Unfortunately, the only elevator in the building for guests was not working. Our rooms were in the second floor but a couple of people in our group have mobility issues so reaching that floor was a challenge」

「I believe this hotel must be going through renovations. How else can you explain open electrical boxes and door signs taped to the doors. The hotel bathroom sink slowly drained and the shower doors didn't close. Cold water for about two minutes. I used two towels to sop up the water outside the shower, since a shower mat was not provided. No soap in the shower. One small soap at the sink. Only two trash bins. Lighting near bed was terrible. Had to move a floor lamp for good...
