「I wasn't disappointed in terms of value for money; contrary to the reviews, this hotel may no longer have the luster of the old Holiday Inn, but I would honestly stay there again on my next visit to Rutland. The room was very nice, clean, with the expected little extras. The bed, bathroom, refrigerator and microwave, air conditioning, and TV were all very good. And what about the location, which is very convenient, with all amenities nearby?」

「I was greeted at the front door by the owner with my room key and an offer to carry my bag upstairs. The Inn is so charming and has so much of its original features intact. My room was very large and decorated with a combination of antiques and country themed modern pieces. The bathroom had the original floor with new fixtures. 「The location is beautiful - a long frontage on Lake George. The condition of the property is, literally, pristine. I am not sure how it manages to be so perfectly maintained and still look like a traditional lake resort. We could not have been more pleased.」

「This is a charming BNB. Our room was gorgeous, the bed very comfortable and the breakfast delicious. The inn keepers are delightful and the definition of hospitable and welcoming. The Inns setting is lovely with well kept and lovely grounds. A real bonus is that right next door is a craft beer and wine tasting room. The award winning beer was great!」

「I had a great stay at the Buckmaster Inn for ski weekend at Okemo. The house is beautiful with many classic colonial touches throughout. Best of all, Richard and Elizabeth are gracious hosts who go above and beyond to make their guests comfortable. It snowed the last night of my stay and Richard got up extra early to clear the driveway and my car! I will be back whenever I can visit. 」

The house seemed to be recently renovated, and with very good taste. Good parking, very clean, modern roomy kitchen, comfortable, cozy living room, beautiful bathrooms, spacious bedrooms with super comfortable beds. We loved having our morning coffee on the back deck. Highly recommend this lovely property!」

Very nice place everything you need you can find in this home from cookware to glassware, baking needs.. i was reading lot's of reviews about this property and was worried , poor wifi, low water pressure.. i had none of those problems with 7 people total in the home.. Only thing i could say is this mattresses can use an upgrade .. but I'd definitely come back again especially in The summer.. this place must be amazing!! In the winter 4 by 4 is a must have...
