Crescent 3 Stars Hotels

"I booked my hotel reservation online through Hotels.com approximately 2–3 weeks in advance for what I believed would be a stay at La Quinta. On the day of my trip, I was frantically searching for my confirmation details, only to realize I had not received a reservation or confirmation number. I called La Quinta and was told to contact Hotels.com since I had booked through a third party. Long story short, I was informed that the price had increased and that there would be an additional $253 charge if I wanted to keep my reservation. Keep in mind, I had already entered my card information to lock in my rate, as I’ve done many times before. I told them I would not pay the additional charge, and then I was informed that my reservation was canceled. Despite this, I was still charged $153 for something I did not cancel. This is ridiculous. I traveled 7 hours for my child’s competition, only to be told my reservation was canceled. I had to find another hotel, yet I’m being charged for a reservation the hotel canceled because they wanted to increase the price due to events in the area."

"Bathroom light flickered, changed room. Second room not ready for guest, hot, turned on AC and left, came back at 11:30 PM, window night shade would not come down, we had to fix it, also AC unit blew black stuff out all over 1 of the beds. No do not disturb door hanger, and was woken up by house keeping, and placed in room by the pool and heavy traffic. Black mold in the shower ceiling. Bed was hard and pillows were old and balled up from washing, towels were old. I have left note for manager and called twice since our stay to talk to manager. No return call from him."
