「Needed to make an unexpected trip to Erie and were fortunate to find a room here. Room was clean, staff was friendly, price was reasonable for a last minute booking, and despite an apparently full hotel we had plenty of hot water. Only two downsides (which would make the rating maybe a 9.5). The sliding shower door wouldn't stay closed (we finally figured out on the 2nd day to wedge a towel in there) so the entire bathroom floor was soaked, and the floor between the bed and the bathroom wall was...

「What a surprise we found at the Athenaeum, a grand hotel from the 19th century, on beautiful Lake Chatauqua. On arrival, we found ourselves entering a gated community spread along the lake shore, with wonderful 19th and 20th century summer homes, within walking distance of the hotel. The entry to the hotel opens into a large traditional open lobby where the front desk sits opposite a wide staircase to the second and third floors, alongside a comfortable bar area where one can order food and...

「I dont want to brag to much about this property as its a hidden gem and i want it avaliablenext time. Very Clean, beautiful view, safe, on a golf course and plenty of room. We had no issues while staying here and my little dogs loved it also. I really look forward to staying again SOON.」
