"This hotel was unexpectedly good. All the staff were friendly and attentive to my needs. I couldn't have asked for anything better. The room we were assigned was in consideration to my companion's limited mobility condition. I would recommend this hotel to anyone visiting Cologne."

"The room was airy, quiet and well stocked with scrupulously clean linen and even the small kitchen was very well suppied with cooking essentials. Bathroom fine, and the shower provided ample flow hot water. Breakfast was simple but a good range of breads, cereals and juices. More than adequate and far better than other similar hotels."

"Very pleased with my stay! The price was such a steal. You may not get all of the fancy amenities of a 4 or 5 star hotel, but it has everything you could need and felt safe and clean! A bonus was that the staff was so friendly and welcoming. Spoke very good english. Also offered a welcome shot upon arrival for Carnival!"

"There was a smell of mould in the corridor on the ground floor around the reception area. However, the rooms we freshly redecorated and new furniture were installed. The bed was comfortable and soft. "

"Highly recommend for anyone who has a loved one staying at the ATOS Orthoparc Klinik. Essential by Dorint Köln is a 7 minute WALK to the hospital. This made daily visits possible as the commute from where we live would be an hour each way. The staff were friendly and helpful (provided a loaner power strip when we realized one was needed to charge the laptop). The rooms were comfortable, business style, with a good wall mounted TV. "Good location, 20 minutes walk to central train station and restaurants nearby. Quiet, warm and comfortable. Only downside was that when we arrived, no one was at reception. We tried messaging the reception's number but the reception does not have WhatsApp so we could only contact them through the Expedia messaging system. Receptionist arrived 5-minutes later."

"I enjoyed my stay in Mauritus hotel in Cologne. Hotel has central location near Heumarkt tram station. Yet it is calm. Entrance hotel can only be made by card so wuite secure One good thing for me was that it has got minibar since I needed to use dormmy meds. Staff is kind and efficient"
