"Very safe, very clean, friendly staff"

"The Rodeway Inn is a very reasonably-priced motel that is easy to get to from I-5. It is generally in good condition for its age. We found the bed to be comfortable and there was a good-sized fridge and a microwave. Room furniture was in good condition, with a comfortable easy chair and desk chair, and good-sized desk for those who need one. There was a burnt-out bulb in the light over the sink. There is no coffee maker in the room, though coffee is available from the motel office after 7AM. It is well situated for events that take place at the Linn County Expo Center/Fairgrounds. There are no good food options near the motel, but US 20 on the other side of I-5 has many dining and shopping options, and downtown Albany, which is a little farther on, has more interesting ones."

"This was a quick stop for us but a good one. It is a little outdated feeling but not to a scary level. There is a diner, saloon and food trucks on property. The pool was covered and shut down but I am not sure why since it's the middle of summer. Pros--Erin at the counter was awesome! I actually love the brown comforters. My son said it makes it seem old, but I like not constantly worrying about getting my dirty suitcase wheels on the bed or spilling and staining a white comforter, the restaurant was wonderful and delicious with SO many options, beds were comfortable but a little harder than my husband likes. A/C worked really well. Cons-our shower was dirty and had a wad of black hair in it which kind of grossed us out. We had showered earlier in the day and were leaving early so we just didn't use it, the door just skims the toilet so you have to step between the tub and toilet to open the door or you hit your toe which I did a lot at night, I was told someone would be at the front counter when we went to leave at 4am but no one was there and the door was locked--not a big issue I just took the keys and locked them in our room but we were on a tight schedule and it was a bit inconvenient. There is a small deposit which wasn't listed on hotels.com but it dropped off quickly. "

"Overall, it was really good for us. The bed was older, but the cushion was firm and real good. Bed sheets were clean and bed was made for us even when we didn't ask for our room to be tidy'd up. I've been in more expensive places and struggled to get a refrig or microwave or an extra chair, but this place was very practical. We got what the website said and showed.. we got a clean bed, towels, wash clothes, mini closet (could use a couple more hangers, but you could ask for this probably), we got a good size round small table with two chairs and the desk table was where the microwave was, which was perfect because we had space to put our food and dishes at. Mini fridge was a taller mini fridge. TV with remote and a/c or heat worked well. Showers were hot. Thank you.. I rested so well for this being an older motel.. It did have a slight 'smoke smell' to it, but I think it was because the carpets were the original ones, but you will be fine if you are not severely picky. Very nice staff. We forgot our salt and they gave us some. Thank you again.. "
