"Basic but perfect for a couple of nights. Great location, lovely breakfast and super helpful staff. They also let us keep luggage there so we could explore La Rochelle before travelling on. Would definitely stay again"

"A lovely warm welcome awaited us at The France Hotel. The room was great, very comfy, and very clean. Breakfast was generous and served in a nice breakfast room. Typical continental breakfast, and all good quality. The hotel is in a pedestrian area, but the underground parking La Breche is very convenient, and only a couple of minutes walk away. Great stay, thank you very much."
