"I must start off by saying that the staff and owner there were incredible. Super kind and ready to help with anything and everything. They called my tour bookings and spoke with them in Thai for me once they saw me distressing a bit, they let me keep my luggage stored there an extra night even though I wasn’t checked in that day. "so, a big part of this is my own fault, but they do advertise a 24 hour convenience desk, which is not true. I came in at one in the morning because the bus dropped me off, I had to walk 20 minutes to get to the hotel from the station, and when I got there, nobody was at the helpdesk. There were two little boys sleeping behind the helpdesk, but they didn’t stir to a flashlight in their faces. I had to check myself in, grab my own key, make my own bed, and clean up a little bit. There was no soap...
