"I liked the ski lodge/honey feel. The hallway and room was probably 80 degrees all night even though it wasn’t really that cold outside. There was no way to regulate temperatures in each room. Had to sleep with the door open to the back patio area. Also the toilet was jammed or something so that didn’t flush, had to lift toilet lid off snd pull stopper manually to flush. It was cheap."

"Bud was very hospitable and overall great! Externally, very aesthetic and inviting. The interior can definitely use some TLC, but it really also depends on your expectations. It’s a country house so don’t expect anything lavish or over the top. Another reviewer wrote that it’s like staying at grandma’s. Couldn’t agree more. If you like trendy and fancy, this is not the place. If you like rustic, quiet and low key- this will do the job. We enjoyed our stay. "

"There was no-one around at Check-in and check-out and any other time in-between. The pool was green and spa not working and main building locked and empty. Our room keys were left in a basket at the front door. There was wi-fi but no password and therefore no wi-fi. The published numbers did not answer. The rooms seemed clean enough but it was a ghost town! I am surprised that this was still listed on hotels.com!"

"It is a beautiful old house with original wood floors. The room was well-appointed and the hostess was warm and informative about the area with lots of suggestions for every activity we asked her about."
