What an amazing experience at The Retreat on the Hill near Austin. The place was peaceful, beautiful, and exactly what we needed for a relaxing getaway. Everything felt cozy, clean, and well taken care of, and the atmosphere made our anniversary even more special.

"Conveniently located for birders, with a friendly and accommodating staff. Once we figured out how the faucet worked, there was plenty of hot water for nice long showers. Overall, this was a clean and comfy room at a reasonable price - and Bertram is a charming small town to explore."
