Hotel Miranda do Douro D. Joao III
10/10 Excellent
" A quietly brilliant stay. The welcome was warm without the fuss, the beds were the sink-into-oblivion kind, and the shower actually understood the assignment. Breakfast — light, thoughtful, and included in the room rate — felt like a small act of generosity rather than an upsell. I even left with a pot of local bee pollen from the lounge, because restraint is overrated. Parking was easy, the internet behaved itself, and there’s a supermarket a couple of minutes away for any last-minute cravings. Calm, considered, and doing exactly what it should — beautifully.
