"Charming little bungalow with private rooftop deck with view of the stunning cliffs. Just a quick 10min stroll to the buzzing walking street which connects east to west railay and has lots of restaurant and nightlife options. Been to railay 10 years ago and fell in love with it again..such a chill place."

"Loved the location that was the best part of the stay. Staff was good, the bungalow was quite small, and the bed was probably the worst thing about the place. It felt like your sleeping on a cement. Other than that we enjoyed our stay."

"I enjoyed my three night stay at J Hotel, and am glad to recommend it to others. The building and the rooms are quite dated and are showing signs of age. However, the staff are lovely and the facility is kept very clean. Also, the location is really fantastic. e.g. a three minute walk to the long tail boats to Railay. And of course there are dozens of perfectly nice places nearby for a meal. Or a drink….or two, or more. J Hotel is my new fav place to stay in Ao Nang. "

"Stayed one night to prepare for the islands. The location is right beside the bus station, which is convenient from getting to/from Phuket airport. Cost was 100baht for the local bus to the airport versus the 500baht some of the rip off taxi's wanted. Other than the location being prime, the AC worked well, as did the shower. The bed was clean, but stiff. The room says non-smoking, but the room reeks of cigarette smoke because the worker constantly smokes right outside our room. The worst part...

"Location was great. The price was great I came before the tourist season 300 baht it went up to 420. It was very clean. The only issues I had was that a drying rack broke. I applied very little pressure to it while drying my hands on a towel. I talked to them they offered me a new room I told them I was ok just wanted to avoid issues with poor construction (drying rack had three holes to screw in they used 2). They said they would fix Monday I left 2 days after still not done. I own a business...
