「First room assigned had not been cleaned. Had food and trash, along with cigarette butts and smoke (in a non-smoking room). I understand that the misuse of the room was not management's fault, but that of the prior occupants. However, there should have been protocols in place to insure that rooms are cleaned and noted as such before new guests arrive. The front desk person was very apologetic and noticeably frustrated that this occurred, and when she told another staff member it was shrugged...
