「The stay was fine, the price was perfect, the place just needs a renovation. It's the only hotel/motel in town and it's a college town, so I would think you want to be a nice place to stay. It worked for what we needed, the staff was great. The big complaint i have was the pull out couch/bed was broken.」

「The first disappointment was how close by the road was.It makes sense for an old hotel, but I found the constant noise and traffic unpleasant and certainly for sitting on the verandah. Also no breakfast is served which is mentioned on website though it definitely was not happening. And lastly I found it tacky to demand a dollar each for drinks in the beverage area.If it costs that much they could incorporate it in the room charge. It just seems unwelcoming」

I had to move rooms twice because the door locks didn't work and the ground-floor window wouldn't close... let alone lock. And that's not even talking about the beer bottle caps left on the room floor, the general layer of filth everywhere, the wet towels left from the previous guest, the rusted out showerhead, or the mouse poop behind the nightstand. The staff are really nice people, it's just a very dirty...
