"Very clean, felt safe and staff was excellent, would stay there again."

"Breakfast as provided was ok. Some choices were cereal, waffle, muffin, instant oatmeal, yogurts. No protein was provided. We've paid less and hand cooked sausage patties, eggs, bacon, etc. They could improve the breakfast. Clean room except a chair smelt like urine."

"This was a great stop for one night. Quiet, clean hotel with nice views of the mountains. Friendly staff and breakfast in the morning helped too. Would gladly stay here again if my path leads through Scipio. "

"This was a basic motel that suited our needs just fine. I stayed here with my husband and two teenage children. We were pleased with the cleanliness of the motel. Overall, we didn't really have complaints, but I do want to point out a few things that we noticed that could be bothersome to other people. It seemed a little loud. Our room was next to a set of stairs and we could hear people thumping up and down them throughout our stay. We had a difficult time figuring out how to use the TV, but our family is technology impaired, so that was probably just an "us" problem. The rooms are small and some of the furnishings are outdated, but it is obvious that they work hard to keep everything clean and looking nice. The breakfast room is tiny and provides very few options. We each just grabbed a banana or an apple to take with us. I have never stayed in a Budget Motel before, and I assume that many of these things contribute to the lower cost of the rooms. If you don't care about the bells and whistles, but do value a clean place to stay, this motel would be a great choice. We would consider staying here again if we ever end up in the area."
