Giant stone pillars are everywhere in monument valley national park. This great valley boasts sandstone masterpieces that tower at heights of 400 to 1,000 feet. framed by scenic clouds casting shadows that graciously roam the desert floor. The angle of the sun accents these graceful formations, providing scenery that is simply spellbinding. The landscape overwhelms, not just by its beauty but also by its size. "The hotel has amazing views and is overall clean and well kept. The staff were very nice and were able to accommodate us a bit early. A few things did bother me though. Upon arriving to my room there a really strong smell of disinfectant which triggered my headache. The food from the restaurant was ok for dinner (we had the burger with fries, chicken tenders, and chilli) . The free breakfast buffet was not good at all. The eggs were tasteless, bagels were hard, and there were no fruits or anything healthier to eat besides light and fit yogurt. Everything served in paper plates, disposable silverware and styrofoam cups."
