"Great place to stay about 1 1/2 miles outside of Jackson. Amenities included TV, fridge, hairdryer, coffee and tea and goodies from office and store. Elk refuge across street but didn’t see one. Staff were very friendly"

"I gave five stars for a couple of things that could have been 4. The toilet/showering facilities were shut down one night. I am giving the benefit of the doubt it was a really unusual situation. I am glad I took my shower prior to the close down. I DO wish the check in person would have told us there was coffee available in the Anvil’s lobby. That did lead to commitment ran into looking for a cup of Java at 4:30 in the morning. On the really plu side I was I impressed with the overall cleanliness and functionality of every thing. I am 77 years old and never was in a hostel. I was impressed. Especially apparently being a fairly old physical structure things were very nice. Not fancy but very doable and satisfying."
