"Beautiful, spotless and well maintained room. Food and service, both breakfast and sky lounge, were excellent. Unfortunately, our arrival was far from satisfactory. We booked airport pickup with the hotel, only to arrive and have to wait with our luggage for half an hour before someone showed up. When we arrived at the hotel we were put into the wrong category of room. After questioning this with the receptionist we were given the correct room. At check-in we also asked for a reservation the next day outside at the Fishmarket, which she confirmed she would do. She completely forgot to do this and we were seated inside as the restaurant had only received the request that afternoon. For a hotel of this standard I blame these shortcomings on poor management. After touring Namibia for 30 days we had planned to return to Windhoek for a couple of nights, and had thought we would come back to the Weinberg. After our experience we made other arrangements."

"Incredibly weird room. Having the toilet and sink on one side of the bed and the shower on another is not practical. Would be great to have a door on the toilet. And not one area to put a shaving kit- o vanity space , shelf , hooks. Not even a place to hand a towel. Lots of windows up high means your room is flooded with light , not great if you are trying to sleep in. And although breakfast was delicious, it took over 30 minutes to arrive. The staff were friendly and professional, the best part of the stay. "
