Great choice for an overnight stop driving further south, but next time, would like to stop for 3 nights to take advantage of the hotel bikes and cycle up and down the Mosel. Lovely sunny terrace for drinks and to eat our evening meal, and the breakfast was splendid.

Quirky hotel
Quirky hotel with all different shaped rooms in different converted buildings. Very good room size. V.G. Bathroom. Excellent breakfast.Friendly English speaking staff.

Nice clean hotel
We stayed one night at this nice hotel. The staff was very helpful and nice, it seemed everybody spoke english. The room was clean and comfortable, not terribly luxurious but overall a good value for the money. We had dinner and breakfast and both were excellent.

Great Location, need to address fruit fly problem
This place was great to stay in though the pillows and bed were slightly flat and hard, we both woke up a little sore. We had dinner and breakfast there which was delicious but we were both turned off quite a bit by the fruit fly population in the flowers on the tables, they made eating difficult because we were constantly swatting at them. The service was wonderful and the location was beautiful. Nice shower and clean room/sheets/bathroom. Overall we would stay here again but we’d bring our own pillows and eat somewhere else.

Disappointing
Overall, this was a disappointing experience -- unfortunately the pictures in no way matched the rooms we were placed in. The guest house and our rooms were dated with an unpleasant smell. Moreover, the wifi was not working (due to an earlier storm apparently), despite this being an advertised amenity. The location is great, but in such a beautiful area with plentiful inns, I would recommend staying elsewhere.

Historic hotel in nice location
This is a pleasant hotel in a historic building in a nice location. We stayed in a room in the "guest house" building, which was spacious and had a balcony. Dinner was excellent. Overall, recommendable.

Overnight Stopover
Second stay here and will definitely return again. Food delicious and excellent choice complete with an English menu. Staff very welcoming and friendly and room very spacious and clean.

The front desk staff said they would get back with answers to my questions, but I never saw them again. They said they would lock the garage my (very) expensive bicycle was in. However, I woke up early to ride and it wasn't locked. The evening waiter seemed like he couldn't care less. Basically, the staff was nice enough, I feel like it was off season and they just weren't paying much attention. Nice room and nice town, though.

very good buffet breakfast but was moved around all the time, i was refused table in restaurant for breakfast yet resturant of over 100 covers was empty, was told i had to go to other room 30m away !!! was told could not use table as was used by other guest night before, seems ok for some guest but not all, seems did not mater i had been move, i did not like the attitude of the staff and think they did not want to clear table for later guest Breakfast from 7am but check out not until 8am, i had plane to catch !!! food was fine i could not believe the standard of the fire alarm system installation looked more like Egypt or India, not what one expects in Germany

Sehr guter Ausgangspunkt für Ausflüge in der Modelregion. Dazu haben wir ein kostenfreies Busticket erhalten, welches wir am ganzen Wochenende nutzen konnten. Das Hotel hat uns in jedem Aspekt überzeugt. Sauberes, geräumiges Zimmer, sehr reichhaltiges Frühstück und freundliche Mitarbeiter. Uns hat das Hotel auf ganzer Linie überzeugt!

Ruhiges Hotel mit sauberen Zimmern
Für unseren Kurzurlaub waren wir im etwa 100m entfernten ruhigen Gästehaus untergebracht. Das Zimmer war geräumig, sauber und modern ausgestattet. Im Gästehaus hatten wir Balkons mit Aschenbecher, im Haupthaus nicht möglich. Hatte aber den Nachteil, dass zur Nutzung des schön ausgestatteten Wellnessbereiches, ein Weg über öffentliche Strassen zurück gelegt werden muss zum Haupthaus. Im Sommer unproblematisch, aber im Winter etwas umständlich, wegen des Umziehens in der Ankleide. Etwas unhöflich empfanden wir die Rezeption, man ließ uns minutenlang warten weil gerade telefoniert wurde. Genauso erging es uns beim Frühstück, minutenlang warteten wir zur Einweisung unseres Tisches. Erst auf Nachfrage an der Rezeption wurde reagiert. Das Frühstück war perfekt, jedoch das Retaurant am Abend konnte uns nicht voll überzeugen.

Usedvanlig treig innsjekk og utsjekk. Resepsjonist kunne ikke engelsk. Hotellet reklamerte med gratis parkering hvor det var fullt, så vi måtte benytte oss av gateparkering mot betaling. Svært dårlig hotellparkering. Mye støy på natta av trafikk rett utenfor vinduet. Ikke hva en forventer i forhold til pris.

Schönes Hotel mit leckerem Frühstücksbuffet
Sehr schönes Hotel. Lediglich die Parkplatzsituation ist nicht optimal, da nur wenige Parkplätze auf dem Gelände verfügbar sind und auf der Straße zwischen 08:00 und 18:00 Uhr lediglich eine Stunde kostenfrei geparkt werden kann. In den Zimmern ist hoher Teppichboden verlegt. Das ist sicher nicht jedermanns Sache.

Dejligt hotel i smukke omgivelser
Vi nød vores ophold på Hotel Deutschherrenhof. Personalet var utroligt søde, og allerede få timer efter vores reservation fik vi besked fra hotellet om, at de havde et værelse klar, hvor vi måtte medbringe vores lille gravhund. Vores værelse var nymoderniseret og lækkert. Hotellet ligger i den lille, rolige by Rachtig kun 8 km fra den smukke renæssance by, Bernkastel-Kues. Alt i alt en god oplevelse i fantastisk smukke omgivelser ved Moselfloden.

antastisk ophold ved Mosel
Rigtig god oplevelse. Vi havde cykler med og det ligger perfekt for gode cykelture til vingårde i området. NY hotel alt var meget rent og rart. Her kommer vi helt sikkert tilbage til.

Kurzurlaub an der Mosel, Hotel mit Wellnessbereich gesucht und hier fündig geworden. Kostenlose Parkplätze vorhanden und Moselblick einfach klasse 👍. Tolles Zimmer und der Wellnessbereich hervorragend. Gutes Frühstück und Preis Leistung.

Komfortables Hotel mit sehr gutem Service
Ich bin sehr pingelig in sehr vielen Dingen, daher habe ich in Hotels selten Freude. Aber hier wurde ich positiv überrascht: Freundlicher Empfang - aufmerksames, hilfsbereites Personal - komfortables, ruhiges Zimmer - gutes Bett - abwechslungsreiches Frühstücksbuffet. Einfach alles super! Ich werde hier bei Gelegenheit immer wieder gern einkehren!
