The hotel beds are atrociously uncomfortable. NO wifi in the rooms whatsoever. Only in the lobby. The tv had one channel that was visible. The service is horrible. The rooms smell. Too much outside noise.

It was close to the beach. The breakfast was poor with very limited food on offer. The shower was so small that the shower doors could not be closed as there was not enough room to wash or lean down to pick up shampoo! We had to ask for our room to be cleaned after 3 days of being in the hotel and ask on a daily basis for toilet rolls!

There was a problem with my booking so I never got my room at Anastasia. The hotel manager arranged an alternative room across the way at the Blue Wave hotel, but using the Anastasia Beach Hotel facilities. Due to this I cannot review the rooms at Anastasia, however the facilities are nice. The pool is lovely, the location is right by the beach and the restaurant, Caretta Caretta is nice with friendly staff (this restaurant serves people poolside). In terms of the booking it was unclear what the problem was - the hotel did have record of my booking but no rooms available. When I tried to get Expedia to resolve the issue (i.e. find out why the hotel hadn't given me my room and find out the new rate I was expected to pay) Expedia were unable to do this. I dealt with separate people at Expedia each day for the whole week of my stay, none of whom provided any assistance or resolution. I will never book through Expedia again as I would expect better support when a booking made through them is not honoured.

The location is excellent right by the beach and away from the main strip. The pool is run by Caretta Caretta restaurant next door and they are lovely. Even they said to us the hotel has gone downhill. When we arrived we were told the hotel was overbooked and were moved into the next door hotel. We had booked two air conditioned twins and were moved to one large triple wil air con that only worked in one part. It was unbearably hot at night. We had no other option though. We were told to take breakfast at the Anastasia. This was inedible. The room was filthy and they don’t clear tables. Constantly running out of crockery. They don’t refill food when it runs out. Rubbery scrambles eggs. Tinned fruit. Disgusting orange squash and coffee. That’s it. Avoid this place at all costs.

Férias em Zakhyntos de Terror

O hotel nao possuia checkin as 1200 como na reserva, mas sim as 1400 hs. Quando fomos efetuar o check-in, disseram que nao tinham nada de reserva e por um problema sistemico iriam nos realocar. Ficamos ate as 1500 e nos ofereceram o hotel Majestic como opção, pois ou era aquilo ou nada. Um hotel horrivel, longe da praia, sujo, atendimento pessimo, dito ser all inclusive, mas so e mesmo pensao completa. So tivemos prejuizo e transtorno. Tentei entrar em contato com hoteis. com mas nao ha como falar com atendente. Quero saber como serei ressarcido por todos oz incovenientes acontecidos.

Hotel fronte spiaggia con piscina privata e bar/ristorante di qualità. Personale gentile e disponibile. Defilato rispetto alla via centrale che è davvero caotica e piena di locali, l'hotel è adatto anche per famiglie con bambini. Facile da raggiungere dall'aeroporto anche con bus fino a Laganas nella via principale e poi 5 minuti a piedi. Laganas è una località prevalentemente adatta a ragazzi giovani che hanno voglia di uscire e divertirsi...consiglio alle famiglie che vogliono più tranquillità di cercare posti defilati dal centro come questo hotel!! Inoltre il check out è alle ore 12 ma si possono lasciare i bagagli in custodia alla reception, mettono anche a disposizione asciugamani e docce calde per chi ha lasciato la stanza e vuole lavarsi dopo la giornata in spiaggia prima della partenza. Il mare e le spiagge sono molto belle e sabbiose e sono zona di nidificazione della tartarughe caretta-caretta.

Great location

The stay was very nice!Friendly staff! The only issues I had was the mattress was uncomfortable and was two single beds push together.And they should really include part of the packagw the internet and air conditioning. You need to pay extra for that.

Stayed 1 night. Hotel situated at the quiet end of laganas. Great room with a sea view. Friendly helpful staff and an excellent breakfast included with plentiful choices.

Close to beach - but that is about it

Just returned from Anastacia Beach Hotel and found the hotel to be poor. Reception area dates back to the 80's and the rooms were is poor condition, my inbuilt fridge was replaced by a larger freestanding one taking up floor space, The shower cubicle was tiny and leaked constantly, leaving pools in the bathroom. Except for rooms overlooking the pool on one side, the others overlook the tiny enclosed over grown garden where the sound echoes and can be very noisy. I was unfortunate to have to hear someone hacking away every morning just before breakfast! Breakfast was limited in choice and of low quality. Other guests were openly making filled rolls and making up lunchtime snacks. I usually do the same but they made enough to start selling them and nobody batted an eyelid. Incredible! The hotel pool and sunbeds are opened to the public and the outside toilets are popular with the locals. The staff at the linked beach-side restaurant are hot on anyone bring in outside food and drinks, including water, which you would think is essential on hot sunny days there. I lost my room key and was charged 30 Euros for a replacement, I mean how much does it cost to cut another? I accept there might a some penalty but that was ridiculous. So all in all not a good experience. To be fair, I think Greece is in such a mess, everyone is just trying to make a living.

Der forekommer ingen rengøring på hotellet ud over rene håndklæder. Tilstanden på hotellet er ok. Sengene er hårde. Du betaler ekstra tillæg for WiFi, aircondition og pengeskab. Morgenmaden er ok. Pool området er rart med direkte adgang til stranden. Du må dog ikke medbringe eget mad og drikke til pool området da det ikke ejes af hotellet, men den resturant som ligger der. Alt i alt, ikke prisen værd for os.

Camera stretta, accontenta solo perché la usavamo solo per doccia e dormita. Pulizie scarse (un giorno le hanno addirittura saltate) e cambio asciugamani solo se gliele lasciavamo sul pavimento davanti la porta! Ottima la posizione!

Lovely and cosy beachfront hotel with a homely feeling- super relaxing stay behind the pool area overlooking the beach and feeling the summer breeze on a hot day! Staff was super friendly and hard working, breakfast buffet gave lots of choice and loved the little balcony of the room! Anastasia offers peace and quiet in busy Laganas with lots of transport links for cruises and more...cute nests of Caretta- Caretta turtle which are protected and won't be disturbed at certain times of the day. A very good value for money stay- only room for improvement would be bigger space in the shower which wasn't an issue for myself but it can be for others.
