「After staying in more than 30–40 different accommodations in Zakopane over the years, I can confidently say: Rezydencja Sienkiewicza is the best place I’ve ever stayed at for this price. The entire Mountain Shelter staff is extremely helpful and friendly – big shout-out to Edyta and Natalia. As someone who used to work on construction sites I genuinely admire the smart way the space is used on this top floor apartment (rooms with roof top sloped walls are not easy to design). 「Overall, we were satisfied with our experience at the hotel. However, we were asked to pay a deposit of 500 PLN upon check-in, which we did. At check-out, we were told that the deposit would be transferred as soon as they had checked the room. When I tried messaging them after 2 days, we heard nothing back. It is now 10 days since we checked out, and we have neither received a response nor our money back. Hence the poor review from us.」
