Perfect spot for a relaxing spa eve after. The view from the room (back) is breathtaking. The staff is very kind and helpful. Within walking distance of Zeferana, where there are plenty of restaurants.

The hotel has fantastic views across the bay and also when it’s clear, of Etna. It perfectly located if you want to go up Etna, as only 30 mins away and also good for day trips to Taormina. Our room was comfortable, and the breakfast was good and varied. We also used the spa and pool facilities both days, which was good but you need have to have a swimming hat, which you can purchase there. Things to improve included having towels available at the spa and having information in the room on when the spa operates and how you book a time slot. Also there wasn’t any information in the room about how to navigate the hotel, how breakfast worked or what the restaurant served. A little more information would be helpful. Overall we enjoyed our two night stay here.

If you have a car, you have to try this hotel.

I have travelling through Sicily for 3 weeks and have stayed in many different hotel. This was the best one. There’s non coming even close. The view is insane, the receptionist was so friendly even offered me something to eat since I arrived really late midnight. The room were so clean. Other guests that I talked to at the pool were so impressed! 10 / 10.

We came here to enjoy the pool, the SPA and gym. The pool was fine, the SPA was not accessible for kids, except for the Panoramic pool, but then only early in the morning and one hour from 19-20. The gym was way too hot to do A workout, airco was not functioning well. Not happy…

Good value for money, near Etna

Good value for money - the hotel is in a great location for visiting Etna but is slightly too far up the hill to wonder into Zaffarena for dinner. Free and plentiful parking (in October). The room was clean, a decent size and balcony has an amazing view over the town towards the sea. There is a free minibar which is a nice feature, with lemonades and water to drink. Unfortunately, you can hear everything above you and the rooms next door so don't expect to sleep in. Staff on reception and in the spa were helpful and friendly. The spa itself is a tale of two halves - the first section a little outdated and smelled a bit funny, but then there is a second, newer section which is wonderfully done and calming, with an indoor pool downstairs. It was free to use - just remember a swimming cap. Restaurant was ok - breakfast (included) and dinner was nothing special. For breakfast, you just help and seat yourself. You have to find a member of staff if you want a coffee but they were helpful once you can track one down. Breakfast items a bit lacking in quality except for the pastries which were delicious. For a hotel that says it is an Eco Wellness hotel, it is a shame it still has bathroom miniatures (instead of the topped up, wall mounted ones that many hotels have these days) and the use of plastic cups for juices at breakfast instead of glasses. All in all, a good choice to stay here. With some minor changes, it could be made great.

Our room, a junior suite, was large, yet the shower was very tiny and old. The room was dated. The on site restaurant was set up to accommodate large groups that came on bus tours, with banquet tables and a dinner menu that was meant for large groups. Online pictures gave the impression of a view of Mt. Etna. Our view was beautiful, of the sea, but you can not see Etna from the property. While the property was adequate, we were somewhat disappointed.

Hotel was falsely advertised, and we didn’t get what we expected based on their website. Spa was not open when it was supposed to be. The AC in our room did not work, even though the staff insisted that it did. It was 29 Celsius (85 Fahrenheit) in our room, even though it was set at to 21/70. Staff visited 4 times and insisted that the AC was working. They were able to find us a different room for the 2nd night. Same problem. Claims to have 3 restaurants on site. There is only 1, and it was the worst food we had during 10 days in Sicily. In addition, the staff was actually fighting with each other over our bill, and it took 30 minutes to check out. The property is built into the side of the mountain and there are 10 flights of stairs between the rooms, the spa, and the restaurant. Will absolutely not stay here again. Not worth the misery. You have been warned!!!

Experiência Positiva - Zona Perigosa

A experiência neste hotel foi positiva, mas deixo um alerta importante a todos os turistas que planeiam visitar a Sicília: há muitos grupos organizados italianos especializados em assaltar turistas, especialmente nesta zona. No segundo dia da nossa viagem, o nosso carro foi arrombado e todos os bens pessoais e documentos foram roubados e não tínhamos nada à mostra. Ao apresentar queixa na esquadra, encontrámos vários casais que tinham passado pelo mesmo. A reação da polícia siciliana foi de total indiferença o que é lamentável. Infelizmente, não voltarei nem recomendo a visita, o que é uma pena, pois a ilha tem lugares realmente bonitos. No entanto, valorizo a segurança e o bem-estar acima de tudo e aqui senti que ambos estavam gravemente comprometidos.
