In one word, the stay for us was disappointing. We paid extra to have the pool heated, which worked less than half our stay. A large storm came through resulting in a middle of the night roof leak. I cleaned it up and left one bathroom off limits for the remainder of our stay. Everyday, someone was there doing work, from pool guys and roofers to pest contol and other maintenance teams, looking in windows which felt invasive. To top it off, we were offered a pitiful refund (less than the promotional coupon an automated message sent us at the end our stay and less than half of our pool cleaning fee) which has yet to procees more than a month after our stay. And there have been no replies to my follow-up inquiry about it. I will be avoiding avantstay properties for future vacations.
