"This property was bare bones. I thought it was clean, the owners were friendly and helpful, but there was a lack of amenities. An ice machine and some vending machines would be an asset. Limited restaurants in the area also. There was a refrigerator and a microwave so you could bring food in."
"For what it is, the Econolodge was great. Yes, it’s an older property, yes the room could use some updating, but it was clean and very affordable and the bed and bedding was very comfortable for a one-night, I’ve been driving too long, place to rest.
And the staff was friendly and accommodating.

Cute downtown. We walked the main street reading the history on the buildings before traveling on. Seemed to be a number of restaurant choices in Yreka. We ended up at Rain Rock Casino for dinner. Excellent food.

You really try and it shows. The town is trying to look nice to travelers and residents in the areas I was in. I am glad they have a mental health center and are trying to help the homeless. I would like to come back again and stay.
