One week prior my big trip I was conducted by HYATT informing that they are going out of business on the 1st of September and the hotel is bought by a different one. I spent maybe 6 hours to find another hotel for the other half of my trip only on the 31st of August to be told from the new hotel owner that I can stay. I was unease all the time not knowing what’s going to happen.

Internet didn't work anywhere other than the lobby, hair dryer in the room didn't work, 1 of the 2 elevators as broken and one of the staff members was very rude. Pay the extra $50 and stay in the Marriott across the street if you can. I moved there after 3 days.

Pleasant stay

Very good location, friendly staff, clean and quiet. We have to come back to Yerevan in 2 months and certainly will come back to Hyatt Place again

Reliable customer service lags at this Hyatt

There are several positives about this hotel - location, clean non smoking rooms, easy of entry/exit, air conditioning, updated space. There are some negatives that impacted our stay as well - the customer service isn't very friendly or helpful and in times of COVID with people needing guidance it's a hinderance. It may be a cultural thing but Hyatt is known for hospitality so expected more. They say there is wifi in the rooms but barely, it's really unusable. Also we were ripped off at the front desk when buying water, we had just arrived and weren't yet acquainted with the currency so ended up paying almost $50 USD for 4 bottles of water only to later realize what happened, things like this make travel harder and less exciting as well as difficult to recommend to others. We pick our hotel as a home base so want to feel safe and secure no matter what happens, like we can rely on the staff not have eyes rolled, told to look on the internet or be ripped off. During travel in times like we are now living, customer service isn't a perk or novelty, it's an important factor to consider in case you get stuck or in trouble while traveling.

The hotel staff were unfriendly and did not make any effort to make the stay enjoyable. They charged me for an early check in although they said they did not know if they would charge me - it would be up to the manager. Hours later they called to tell me they would charge me. Why not have a policy that is applicable to all people and not pick and chose who you charge. I would not stay here again.

The breakfast buffett was delicious served everyday also during our stay we also decided to try dinner here and was delicious also. The hotel is located right outside of republic square within walking distance to many restaurants, parks, and a supermarket

Отель оказался скромнее ожиданий. В номере не было никаких меню для рум-сервиса, а так же описания услуг отеля. Из косметических принадлежностей были только шампунь и мыло. Кондиционер шумный. Фитнес зал с очень скромным оснащением. Завтрак ок, но даже в низкий сезон в зале было довольно тесно.

I booked this hotel for my brother and mother in-laws for 9 nights. I should mentioned that they already made a reservation for a disappointed hotel in Yerevan, but after staying a night in that place they did early check out and picked Hayatt Place. They were so satisfied with the location, wonderful staff and service. My guests needed to print and edit some documents in a rush after midnight and the reception Ms. Mitra assisted them patiently and accurately. Rooms are so clean and breakfast has variety. It is absolutely wonderful as rated. Highly recommend it.

Hotel is in an ideal location. Rooms are clean and comfortable. Good value. Internet was a little slow but okay. Breakfast was better than average. Staff was helpful in getting me the Covid test required to return home.
