「Clean and spacious room.」

「The room was spacious with a big bathroom, and access to a shared living room was an extra bonus. All of the staff were really friendly and the breakfast was great.」

「Everything was wonderful EXCEPT no air conditioning so the whole hotel felt like a sauna (we were there during a heat wave in May) and they didn’t do table service for dinner so we had to order our food and drinks from the bar, which isn’t the end of the world but knocks a star off the rating. Room was super cute, well decorated, the bathroom was really nice, loved the shower and it was very clean. 「Beautiful 18th Century pub in quiet village location. Taken to room, lovely decor, big bed, bathroom was a little tired. Shower had no hot water when I tried at 4.30pm, thankfully had some the following morning. Had a wonderful night sleep, a shame some kind of breakfast is not included in the price. Welcoming staff and lovely locals. Would I stay again, yes. 」

「We thought the room was not worth the price. It was a bit shabby and lacked the extras with a room that price. Early evening we saw two rats outside on our patio. There was a lack of staff at certain times and this was communicated to us when asking for breakfast. The bar and gardens were lovely, they were very helpful with our food choices but the Sticky toffee pudding was not to a good standard.」

「The room decor and facilities are excellent, but the room itself is only the size of most single rooms. Its small 4ft 6ins bed has only just enough room to edge around it. There is no wardrobe for clothes. 」
