"The room was so tiny we couldn’t walk around the bed. There was only one pillow each. The room was well over $300 a night and was really poor value even given the captive airport position and little competition. I’d rather get up at poo o’clock than stay again. Staff on reception were lovely. I felt ripped off by the hotel, amenity and price. "

"⭐ Expedia Review (concise, factual, practical) 4 stars — Convenient for an overnight stay near the airport Sunny Rooms Mascot is very convenient for an overnight stay close to Sydney Airport. Staff were friendly and helpful, and access is easy with a door code emailed before arrival. Just note there is no front desk and no elevator. Our room was in the basement, so we had to carry our suitcases down a flight of stairs. The room was clean but basic, and the bathroom was clean and well stocked with shampoo, body wash, and conditioner. There’s also a shared kitchen available. Only a few restaurants are within walking distance; we ended up walking to the Ibis Sydney Airport for dinner. If you need more amenities or an on‑site restaurant, Ibis might be a better fit, though it costs a bit more. Overall, a good place for a one‑night stay before or after a flight."

"The Rydges Sydney Airport is located perfectly at the international terminal. Thecomfortable beds and quiet rooms are the only good thing now. The self checkin process is appalling, obviously another way to decrease staff and make more money without a drop in price for the room. I still like this hotel, but Im noticing the decline in service, the expensive drinks and food in the bar and restaurant."
