"We had the room with a big square bath and balcony overlooking the mountains. The room was of a high standard, all the gadgets for lighting and air conditioning to make it comfortable during a September, very humid stay. Room cleaned and restocked really well each day. Staff on reception really helpful but you will need a translation app if you need to speak English but this was fine and wasn’t a problem, the staff in the cafe next door were really lovely and friendly. Great juices, just a few snacks, could have done with a wider food menu. We ate once in the restaurant in the hotel. Atmosphere was lacking a little and menu not to our taste but we appreciate food is very subjective.. what we did order was tasty. We didn’t get up for breakfast! One of the highlights is to go through the restaurant and up the stairs to the roof terrace, stunning views of the mountains. One thing to note is if you are in a mountain villa, there are a few stairs to climb, not a massive amount but if you have restricted mobility, 20 steps or so would be a challenge. Also this hotel is right on the road. We were on the fourth floor so not too affected and everything quiet at night, but for our afternoon snooze we could hear beeps of scooters/cars. The vehicles themselves are really quiet, mostly electric but the beeps when they overtake could be heard. We didn’t try the pool and gym, looked nice. Would we go back? Yes, we loved it, as it was mostly Chinese people and felt like an authentic stay."

"Amazing views and designed. Clean, friendly staff that works hard. My only complaints are the shower isn't well designed it has a lot of standing water all the time as it doesn't drain, and there's no real service at the pool area, you have to hunt someone down. The buffet for breakfast was fine, nothing special but pretty in how they set it up. I didn't try the expensive restaurant as they wanted to charge $300 a person for the tasting menu. Insane pricing really - we ate for $20-30 a night amazing meals in town - so I do recommend just taking a Didi to town and eating there, really wonderful restaurants and pairs well by escaping that chaos in Yangshuo for the peaceful hotel settings. Cleaning crew and driver special shout out for being great. Spa was very nicely done, but again, just wildly overpriced"

"I just spent 10 days here during a 14 week long tour China, Japan and South Korea. It was by far the best hospitality I had during my entire trip. Every single member of staff was absolutely amazing. I can't recommend this place enough. I've already planned my next trip there for next year. The rooms were huge, the view stunning and food excellent."

"Our stay here was nothing short of amazing! We loved this property as it was clean, the room was large and the staff were so helpful. They booked us cars to get from the train station and airport, helped us book a scooter and even gave us food recommendations. We used the pool as it was so hot out and we also ate the breakfast both mornings. The staff were the highlight though as they were truly amazing. Such a beautiful property to be lucky enough to stay at."
