"The hotel and room were modern, nicely decorated and overall very comfortable, and the location was good.
Cleaning could be a little more thorough, particularly in the shower, and there were a few minor repairs that could be addressed.
Unfortunately, our room was not cleaned for two days in a row. This was rectified fairly quickly after raising it with reception, but it did cause some inconvenience. On the second occasion, we returned after being out all day at around 16:30 to find the room had still not been serviced and there were no clean towels, so we were unable to shower. We then had to wait for the room to be cleaned, despite needing to leave again at 17:45. This left us with very limited time to get ready, and we had expected the room to have been serviced while we were out.
On our final night, there was a wedding taking place outside the hotel. While this was understandably outside the hotel’s control, the road can already be noisy, and combined with the wedding it made sleeping very difficult. The hotel also did not have any earplugs available. Light sleepers may want to request a room away from the front.
Overall, a comfortable and nicely presented hotel in a good location, but the housekeeping and noise issues did impact our experience."
