「The owners are great. The property is not. The place is cold for winter, the thermostat is locked, but if you call the owners they will adjust it up some. The place has a smell. It is like a wet dog or mold. The bed is hard, the pillows are flat, and the sheets are thin. It is a multi- stay unit home, if you book a room, there may be another 4 (or more) guests staying there with you sharing the common room. For winter, all the potted plant were brought inside. 「Loved this hotel. Its location is amazing - up in the hills and so tranquil but still only a 10 minute drive from Chaves. The hotel has so many fruit trees and herbs - I was able to pick fresh mint to make mint tea whilst I was there. Will definitely return!」

「It's a calm, casual place with class. Good restaurant. But its more a mix of old and modern than the photos makes you believe. Bedrooms and restaurant are in moderne additions, but it works well.」

「Lovely clean spacious room with all the facilities we required. We did use the pool while at the hotel and thought it was excellent with plenty of sun loungers. We had breakfast at the hotel and the food was tasty and plenty of choice. We didn’t have an evening meal so can’t comment on main meals. Overall excellent value hotel and I would have no hesitation in booking again if I’m ever in Chaves.」

「Hotel muito bem localizado. Staff muito atencioso. PA com horário alargado até 10h30, com variedade de produtos. O sumo de laranja se fosse natural real uma mais valia. O wc estava com 1/2 rolo de papel higiénico e deviam prestar atenção aos pormenores como este. Não conseguimos mudar de canal na tv do quarto. Não sei qual era o problema pois como apenas ficamos 1 noite não constituiu um problema 」

「Tout était parfait ! Nous avons eu un problème de chauffage et l’équipe a tout mis en œuvre pour résoudre la situation. Finalement nous avons été contraint de changer de chambre ! Celle-ci avait également un problème grave car la porte intérieure était cassé et a failli tomber sur la tête de mon mari! Nous avons signalé à l’accueil pour résoudre cela car cela aurait pu être grave !」
