"Reserved deluxe room， found dirty tower in bathroom . when opened the drapes , room view are directly faces 3 big and 2 small chimney’s roof tops, after midnight I can smell the exhaustion releases from chimney, gone down next morning. Shows photo of the dirty tower and about odors got into my room . her name Emma claims she is the front desk manager, says to me , what I reserved are deluxe room , all deluxe rooms are facing the same inside only , No apologies for dirty tower just asked to take a photo from my phone . Her customers service are truly bad . I was so upset at her careless attitudes , I told her I am going to post this room view on website, she says go ahead , then repeating again , you booked the deluxe room and all deluxe room are facing inside ?, meaning most are facing the rooftop, perhaps my room happens to be located directly facing it’s worst. Before I booked Westgate hotel ximen , I gone through the reviews, no idea how all good ?, my stayed were very disappointed ."

"Bell hop flagged down our taxi but did not clarify which airport we were going to. We ended up at the incorrect airport & almost missed our flight."

"The room and facilities are great. My only comments are that the rooms are NOT soundproof as I was kept awake by a loud person in the next door room. Also slightly annoying that bars and restaurants are not open every night given guests are staying"

"I stayed at Cham Cham for 8 nights. The hotel is very new and clean. I stayed in explore twin room by myself. It is big enough. It is a bit far from Taipei, so if you need naps or rest in mid day while visit Taipei, Cham Cham location is not ideal for that. The review for the staff is mixed. The cleaning crew was very thorough and friendly. However, the front desk staff was not very friendly. They were not mean, but didn't really care for saying Hi to the guests. They didn’t smile at all nor care for any questions I had for them. As a traveler, naturally I have some questions, they were not helpful and not friendly. No smile at all. They all seemed like college-aged students who treated this job like another part-time job versus a job in the hospitality service business. This is very different from other hotels I stayed in in Taiwan."

"This is the best hotel to stay for a night in Taiwan. Right at Ximending, MTR is right outside, which can take you to airport and other places quickly- you can’t beat that. The room is clean and comfortable, the staffs are friendly, amenities are great. I would definitely stay here again should I visit Taiwan. "
