Holiday Inn Express Mérida by IHG
Great hotel just across from the Mayan Museum. A great restaurant (Habaneros) just out the door as well as large supermarket, upscale mall, and smaller tiendas for beer and groceries. Very safe area. Hotel was very nice, friendly staff, great breakfast, clean, modern rooms.

Gamma Mérida El Castellano
Really big room with a kitchen area. Massive bed which was really comfortable. Very clean throughout. Good, clean bathroom. Great air conditioning and safe box. Only downside was a bit of noise from a local karaoke bar in the evening (Saturday), but it finished around 11 ish so wasn’t a problem. ...
