"The room itself was fine for a budget hotel and the location was convenient. However, my stay was let down by repeated disturbances on the morning of check-out. There was drilling taking place in the hallway before 7:30am, followed by a member of staff entering my room while I was asleep. After discovering the room was occupied, I would have expected this information to be passed on, but around 45 minutes later another member of staff attempted to enter the room again. I had also locked the door after the first incident, yet access was still gained. When I raised this at reception, I was told staff had assumed the room was vacant because one guest had returned their key. As the booking was for two guests, I do not feel this was an acceptable assumption to make. The room was adequate, but having staff attempt to enter an occupied room twice before check-out left me feeling uncomfortable and disappointed with the overall experience."
