The best accommodation we had in our 7 day Tasmania round trip. Stayed in the coastal pods here and has everything you need: comfort, security, views and friendly staff. Every room in the accommodation is well thought out, particularly the reading room. Will stay again here and highly recommend.

Wonderful location on the picturesque river front. We recently stayed for three nights at the Pods. The accommodation was perfect in every way and had all the facilities we needed during our stay. They are beautifully furnished, spacious, and very comfortable. We certainly would not hesitate to stay in the pods again. Would highly recommend the Pods, just perhaps a little longer stay for us next time!!

Excellent stay, great view relaxing lovely easy access to everything. Lovely and clean only issue the beds when you try to get in to bed or sit on them and they move.. alot.. lol

The coastalpods were much more than we thought. Beautiful position, great for 2 couples and within walking distance to town. The concept and thought in converting containers to accommodation is excellent. Would have loved to stay longer.

Unique design

We stayed for one night, as a stopover. The design and style was a pleasant surprise, unique and a great use of disused shipping containers. The pod is also very spacious and thoughtfully laid out, maximising both space and light. The views and setting are very relaxing, on the river. The town of Wynyard itself has little of interest; there are a few good cafes (much better than the breakfast on offer at the adjacent motel), but not much else.

Beautiful space to enjoy the river view!

The coastal pods were perfect for our stay in Wynyard. They have been beautifully styled with a relaxed, coastal feel. The location is great being right on the rivers edge. Highly recommended!

Beautiful relaxing setting looking over the river.

The rusty old containers hide the most beautiful rooms I have ever come across. Large airy rooms tastefully decorated with a seaside theme with all you would need for an extended stay to make it just like home, music TV, games, etc.

Absolutely Amazing experience

What an experience from the friendly and welcoming staff to the luxurious inclusions of the accommodation. The kids just loved it (as did their parents). This is a must do for something a bit different and to spoil yourself.

Great place to chill out in out of the way locatio

The pods are very comfortable and really thoughtfully well equipped. Right on the waterfront looking out at the bay and boats. Probably a better location for the warmer months rather than late Autumn or Winter.

the uniqueness of this accomodation was intriguing and the product delivered. The pods are spacious, luxurious and have everything you need for one night or one week. The layout provided for privacy for bedrooms and bathrooms while providing excellent indoor and outdoor space for relaxing, cooking etc. The quality of the inclusions was exceptional and nothing has been left out.
