I am requesting that the condition of the Coachmen Motel in Wynne, Arkansas receive immediate attention. The property appears severely outdated and in need of extensive renovation and maintenance. I had only been checked in for approximately 10 minutes before deciding that I could not stay at the motel. After entering the room and observing its condition and amenities, I returned to the front desk, surrendered my key, and left the property. My decision was made almost immediately based on what I personally observed. The property would benefit from a thorough assessment of its rooms, bathrooms, furniture, fixtures, guest amenities, general cleanliness, property maintenance, and life-safety features. Where deficiencies are found, repairs, replacement, modernization, and corrective maintenance should be completed before guests are expected to pay for accommodations. Given the condition I observed, I believe it would also be appropriate for the relevant local authority to conduct an independent inspection to ensure the motel is meeting all applicable requirements for operating a lodging establishment. This is more than a matter of the motel simply being dated. Paying guests should reasonably expect accommodations that are safe, sanitary, maintained, and suitable for occupancy.

Rough accommodations.

This place is definitely bare bones. Surrounding area is a bit scary. Very thin towels and sketchy bedding. No soap or shampoo.

The price is great. The owners are wonderful people. Very nice. I stayed on and off for three weeks. I checked out in Friday, went home to Illinois. I checked in again on the following Monday, under a new reservation. I noticed the sheets on the bed were not changed. If you're looking for a place to rest your head for the night on a budget, this place will suffice.

Dated structure, but comfortable new beds. Would be best to remove old carpet for sanitizing. Stained cement floors are more cost efficient and much easier to maintain. Bathtub needs new stop switch.

Some things to be desired

Generally OK, but missing some essentials. No shower curtain meant water all over the floor at 5 a.m. A/C hardly cooled. Thankfully, despite the full property, it was quiet.

Meh

I had noisy neighbors that kept me up all night, even though there were plenty of vacencies, and we didnt have to be placed side by side, we were. Overnight clerk wasnt friendly, morning person was. Bed sheets, pillow cases, carpet were stained. At least it was well priced.

Ok In a pinch.

Run by a nice family. They seem to be slowly renovating. The primary issue was with the linens. There were large black spots on the towels so I didn’t use them. I believe this is likely due to the AC being so far from the bathroom (which can get humid) and the generally humid climate. The blankets could also be replaced from overuse. (Fortunately I travel with both a blanket and towels). Generally the room was surface clean but definitely needed a deep cleaning.

When I got there the TV and the phone did not work. They repaired the TV but not the phone. I had a long day of travel and sent straight to bed. When I woke up early morning, I went to take a shower and it did not work. I had to get going, but couldn't call the office because they never fixed the phone. Very upsetting. I only require 3 things, a bed, a toilet and a shower. Otherwise I'm not picky.

The only thing good about this property was the lighting at night which was very bright. I was over charged by this website for 1400 for a months stay when the property wasn't worth but half for a month's stay...... and because I was over charged by Expedia the people who owned the property wanted me to keep paying that price..
