Incredible family lodge experience

Although a little pricey, it was well worth it. Nothing overly fancy, but very comfortable, just a good wholesome environment that has been very purposely thought-out to create so many outdoor experiences for kids and families to enjoy. Very well-maintained, provided a memorable trip for our kids.

It was a beautiful resort, it was close to all the places I needed to go, I also loved the wooden cabin theme it was very cozy. If you visit the dells you should give this place a try.

Staying here was like glorified camping. You get to sleep in a bed, but you still get all the mosquitos.

Just a few improvements will go a long way

This place needs new bedding and towels!! The beds are comfortable enough, the rooms are clean enough. The problem is the bedding was barely a blanket and sheets and the towels have to be 20 years old - almost see through they are so thin and small. And the shower curtain was basically a stiff cardboard sliding wall that barely slides. Spend a little, improve these few things and it would be worthy of being called a "resort." As it is, it is more like a bad Motel.

Overcharged

I booked this hotel through expedia and they aleady charged me the taxes. When I was there the staff charged me again for taxes, I told them I already paid and they didn't hear it. When I booked it, it was saying there won't be any more charges. It was a bad experience, but the stay was okay.

Good location but needs renovating

Pricey with no breakfast and room was clean but freezing when we got there. Took hours to warm up. Facilities are old but nice pool for little ones was very cute

Late Summer Fmaily Vacation 2017

Meadowbrook Resort is very family friendly. It is secluded yet very close to downtown Wisconsin Dells. The room that we stayed in was a very decent size room. The blankets and pull out couch were very old. There are many tears on the blankets. We had to get our own blankets to use as we feel that the ones they provide were not very clean. We stayed ion the second floor so there was a very nice balcony but it was connected to other balconies. We would have loved to leave the sliding doors open at night or while we were out to get fresh air into the room but that was not possible because all the balconies were connected. The mattress is very soft that we feel the side where your head is supposed to be at is lower than the ones where your feet goes. If they could update their blankets, and mattresses, it would be a very good place to stay at and really enjoy the areas.

Nice hotel off the main strip of the Dells

This is a cozy "Northwoods" themed resort that is great for families - quiet and comfortable and nice place to get away from the crazy chaos of the Dells main strip hotels. It is located a very short drive off the main drag, on the edge of the woods, so you feel like you are getting away from it all. There is a large outdoor pool and separate kiddie pool, separated by a fence for safety for the little ones. There is also a great indoor pool for young children, with depths starting at just 3-4 inches deep and going to about 2 feet deep - great for babies/toddlers, all the way up to younger kids (maybe 7-8 years old) with small slides. The resort has gazebo for picnics, sand volleyball court, playground and a nice path for short walks around the property. There is a patio with grills that you can use and picnic tables. At night, they have several firepits around the property that they light and you can make s'mores - very nice touch - they even sell the supplies including marshmallow toasting forks - in their little store for very reasonable price. Family movies in the lobby at night, with bean bag chairs for the kids and rockers for the grown ups. Great place to stay with kids!

I stayed here with my family because of the Hotel.com rating of superb. It was just OK. Nice staff but the room was not very good for the price we paid. Our room was odd at best. We stayed in the part of the hotel that I called "the bunkhouse". Shared porches, common areas for group parties and every conversation was overheard. The "bunkhouse" has paper thin walls and snoring could be heard from other rooms! Every time our neighbors would close a door, our room would shake. The bathroom sink sprayed water everywhere when turned on, no fan in the bathroom so the tiny wall mirror would fog up. The bathroom sink honestly had about 2 inches of old caulk holding it onto the wall. The room was really not worth the price we paid.

Need a vent

Stay was great except for two things the cabin did not have a closet or anywhere to hang clothes and the bathroom did not have an exhaust fan so the whole cabin would get very humid when we showered.

Great Place for kids!

Everything was great at the resort, the staff was very friendly, room was clean and easy to get to from the vehicle, and it was a great location as it was away from all the commercialized area but still easy to get too. Built in a nice area of the hills and forest. We'll be back for sure. It's a great place for young kids!

Hidden Gem in the Dells

Hidden gem in Dells within walking distance to downtown dells! I had an AMAZING time and will definitely will be return again! We stayed in the Bunkhouse suite which was PERFECT and a GREAT PRICE!!!

Cute hotel

Well kept rooms and grounds. Just right for the price. Disappointed in equipment in workout room...very old. Could not get to coffee in the lounge because lobby doors were locked until 0800 and our exit was at 0730.

Great family hotel!

This hotel is perfect for young families. My three-year-old loved the indoor pool. It's a few blocks from the main drag; the distance is walkable, but there aren't easy sidewalks all the way out to the hotel. The whole setup (movie time, pools, playground, etc) is great if your kids are young (maybe up to 6?), But might bore older kids.
