Atlantis Family Waterpark Hotel, an Ascend Collection Hotel
6/10 Okay
"Not overly impressed, but it did the job. We stayed one night for a family gathering. We were appreciative of the fact that we were able to use the pool before checking in since an early check in was $10/hour. We stayed in a "suite". Having two separate rooms was nice. We also were glad to have the fridge and microwave. The facility itself was definitely outdated. Some improvements have been made, but there was also a lot that needed attention. My kids (4,3, & 1) loved the waterpark. The kiddie area was perfect for the 1 year old. Overall I'm 50/50 on whether I'd return."
"Stayed off season and the only option was at the hotel. The main and side entrance both had a heavy smoke smell. You can tell they put a lot of money into the outdoor areas/tiny houses and the hotel needs love. "
"Havent had any issues here, staff has always been helpful, rooms are clean, ive stayed here thru 2025 an 2026 many many times, plan to in future, better then super 8 staff stalking over bed sheets and children puking at 2am ish, stay here not the super 8"
"NOT CHILD/FAMILY/FRIENDLY, DO NOT STAY HERE! STAFF AND ROOM SERVICE IS THE PROBLEM! SELECT FEW STAFF WHO WORK WITH U, REST DONT BOTHER, I WILL NOT STAY HERE EVER AGAIN, DONT RECOMMEND IF U HAVE CHILDREN THAT U DO EITHER! "
"Older hotel, I’m guessing restructured and updated 2-3 years ago. Kind of place you think, man this is a little creepy. Three winding sets of stairs next to each other are the main access points for floors 1 and 2. Not sure if it’s accessible, I didn’t see an elevator, and it’s almost impossible to walk down the hallway without encountering stairs. The hallway is constantly changing elevations.
Țhe room itself was nice enough, I think the main draw is the comfortable bed. The room was very small- a little bit bigger than the bed. It’s like they took previously normal sized rooms and restructured the hotel to squeeze in a extra 2-3 rooms per floor.
Walls were thin, could hear a movie on the tv next door with headphones on.
Pool was dismal, dated 1970’s thing, with an out-of-order sauna turned into a supply cabinet.
Breakfast was continental style, though even at that felt lacking. You could really feel the empty desperation from the staff member who set it up. He was committed to perfecting the art of brooding.
If you want a cheap room that’s pretty clean and don’t care that it’s dated, this is the place. If you’re looking for a vacation or place to relax, this isn’t it. Overall 2/5 stars."
"Would definitely go again. So much better than our experience at mount Olympus. Here it was so clean and felt way safer and had food options that were worth the cost. I will only be booking here for my yearly dells drips from now on"
