"The staff at the Royal Sonesta was very friendly and helpful. Everything was clean and the decor was so fun. We had dinner at the hotel restaurant and really enjoyed the food and the cocktails. Parking was a breeze. The location was great....within walking distance to the Orpheum and many great restaurants and fun places to grab a drink. I'll definitely stay here again. "

"Breakfast wasn't anything special. Very small selection. Our room was clean, but the bed was very uncomfortable. The sheets were rough and scratchy and the comforter was extremely lumpy. The TV was terrible to operate. The lady at the front desk seemed confused and her English was almost impossible to understand."

"Room was clean. Staff at the dining space were excellent. Parking is to be paid upon arrival - $5/night +tax. They do not validate. Using the Bonvoy app, housekeeping did not provide the requested items - extra towels, shaving kits. Upon checkout I was informed that the reservation paid through Expedia was a deposit and was charged an additional $35. A friend who booked another room, was charged a second time for the total amount and they said they would release the initial “deposit”. The facility could use a little maintenance - the elevator shaft door on floor two doesn’t close all the way and the call light indicator has been damaged. Overall, due to the additional fees/runaround, I would not stay again."

"Dirty bathroom doors inside and out, furniture outdated, bath towel had a huge hole in the middle of the towel, required a bottom floor due to anxiety about fires when I booked the room, called twice on two different days to make sure was told no problem. Got there and they said the whole bottom floor decided to stay over. Maybe a few but the WHOLE bottom floor? Hard to believe. A/C was loud, breakfast so, so. Not worth the money they want per night."

"When we arrived this weekend we found out that the hotel was condemned 10 days earlier without any prior notification. The reason on the notice was that the elevators were all out of service. We were mostly disappointed that we weren’t notified we couldn’t stay there sooner when we would have had time to make alternate arrangements. "
