Staff friendly nice location and room fine. One gripe is that the breakfast is a rip off at price charged not a great standard. Need to get a new supplier for the sausages (terrible ). We also had the festive afternoon tea which was below satisfactory.

Easy parking and check in. Radiator in our room didn’t work but we did have a plug in heater. Took a while to heat the room. Bar area was good. Used the pool and sauna.

The hotel is a little tired and could do with a bit of tlc in some areas. But overall it’s a great hotel in fantastic surroundings. It’s peaceful clean and comfortable. Will definitely book here again if we are needing to stay in this area.

Unusual property, perfect location next to Marwell zoo. Staff very attentive & helpful, especially the receptionist who checked us in. Swimming pool area a little dated, with dangerously slippery floor. Used restaurant for evening meal, food overpriced for what we had, also hot offerings at breakfast were cold

The sauna was great. Breakfast was ok, but one morning it was 20 minutes late which could be problematic if you count on it to be on time. Staff is really lovely and helpful. I love this hotel

Lovely people at reception and bar areas. Warm welcome etc. Room was well equipped and clean. Bed was very comfortable and a good size. Breakfast was very good, although a bit limited on fruit and yogurts etc. Would definitely stay again even though I did not visit the zoo, which was not a noisy place to stay!

Close to the zoo but needs a make over .

Staff at hotel very very polite and helpful. Breakfast was lovely. Sadly hotel could really do with a make over and it was pretty shabby which really let it down .

Lovely location and the room was quiet apart from the plumbing. We stayed for 1 night, the room was adequate although bathroom had a bad smell of drains with no extractor fan. The bed was lumpy on one side. The swimming pool is tired looking but we enjoyed our swim. Friendly staff. We would stay here again. Thank you.

Quiet retreat

Such a cute hotel, really friendly and ample free parking. Situated next to the zoo, the area is quiet, relaxed and safe. I will definitely stay here again.
