Our door wouldn't shut properly and a man literally died in the pool. The staff did not scream for help or really react upset at all.

Works for a quick stay

Overall this place is ok for a 1 night stay. Our door was open upon arrival and then we could close it. The door had swelled due to the heat, and had to be slammed, excessively hard, in order to close it properly. Otherwise everything else was fine.

Doors are so sloppy dirty: both doors entrance and bathroom. I chose this cheaper hotel stay because I knew I was coming in late and checking out early. I’m writing this before I had breakfast, so cannot comment on that. I read reviews prior to booking which were not great but people recommended of stay is one night. I usually stay at Marriott and after this stay I’m more inclined to keep staying in Marriott!

Safe, clean, friendly

I lost my watch, the hotel found it and gave it to me. It’s a very safe hotel. I’m impressed. Also, during my stay the room was very clean and receptionist was friendly.

you get what you pay for. In this instance, it’s not really a bad thing. It’s nothing luxurious. The property is run down and needs an update and some clean up in the parking lot. But, our room was a super reasonable price, clean, comfy, and had everything we needed. The staff was nice. There was a small exercise room and an outdoor pool (looked run down, but clean) The area is great. Very walkable and close to the downtown area- you can’t beat the location. We felt safe there. Overall, decent stay. We would stay there again if we’re in the area.

Front desk clerk was very friendly and knowledgeable-- top marks for him. The room was clean and comfortable. My only complaints are that there were a few bugs in the bathroom-- who I rehomed outside-- the showerhead was poor (or maybe it was the water pressure) and I couldn't get the water above lukewarm one morning, and there was no shampoo in the holder. Overall, though, these are minor issues, and the stay was generally clean, comfortable, and lovely.
